What is the SI joint (sacroiliac joint)?
The SI joint is the connection of your spine to your pelvis. It is a very strong, congruous joint that moves very little. Injury to this joint is common. Something as simple as bending and twisting to load a dishwasher can cause injury and pain at the SI.
