How do I know if I have “tennis elbow”?

“Tennis elbow” is tendonopathy of the extensor muscle group of the wrist/forearm. It is caused by a sudden eccentric force on the muscle, and is typified by tenderness at the lateral elbow. Once injured, any activity involving grip can become painful. Many physical therapy techniques are effective in resolving this pain.
