Michelle Mello PT, DPT

Professional Experience:

Michelle Mello brings over 8 years of experience as a physical therapist. Michelle originally became interested in helping other’s through rehabilitation after her own knee injury as a teenager when she worked with a physical therapist and was introduced to the environment. Now, she has experience in outpatient orthopedics and inpatient/acute rehabilitation. This has encouraged her treatment approach to involve treating the whole body, as injuries are most often multifaceted. She has always enjoyed exercise but found a love for reformer pilates shortly after moving to Charlotte 6 years ago. She started using pilates based principles in her treatments, and quickly learned how much this practice helped to heal her patient’s bodies and improve her own abilities. She loves to introduce others to pilates, in order to help them find length, strength, stability, awareness, and balanced movement. She believes adding this practice helps to prevent injury and recover from injury!
